Job Title: Software Engineer

Duration:  1 year plus

Location: North of Boston, MA 

Description:
The contract software engineer shall work for the Embedded Digital Systems Group at the Client's site. Specifically, the contractor shall, under the supervision of client personnel, participate in the requirements specification, design, implementation, and documentation of real-time software for embedded digital systems. The work will involve developing real-time embedded software for a commercially-available parallel digital signal processing system in a UNIX development environment. The contract shall extend for one year. The contract may be renewed at the end of the one year period if mutually agreeable.
Requirements:
The minimum requirements for the candidate contract software engineers are: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, at least 3 years experience programming in C or C++ in a UNIX-based environment, and at least 2 years experience in writing real-time embedded software using object-oriented design principles. Possess a Secret Clearance. Familiarity with radar and sonar concepts is desired, but not required.
